the algorithm for solving the inverse numerical range problem

In this paper we apply the Homotopy perturbation method to derive the higher-order asymptotic distribution of the eigenvalues and eigenfunctions associated with the linear real second order equation of Sturm-liouville type on $[0,pi]$ with Neumann conditions $(y'(0)=y'(pi)=0)$ where $q$ is a real-valued Sign-indefinite number of $C^{1}[0,pi]$ and $lambda$ is a real parameter.
متن کاملSemi-Discrete Formulations for 1D Burgers Equation
In this work we compare semi-discrete formulations to obtain numerical solutions for the 1D Burgers equation. The formulations consist in the discretization of the time-domain via multi-stage methods of second and fourth order: R11 and R22 Padé approximants, and of the spatial-domain via finite element methods: least-squares (MEFMQ), Galerkin (MEFG) and Streamline-Upwind Petrov-Galerkin (SUPG)....
متن کامل“the effect of risk aversion on the demand for life insurance: the case of iranian life insurance market”
abstract: about 60% of total premium of insurance industry is pertained?to life policies in the world; while the life insurance total premium in iran is less than 6% of total premium in insurance industry in 2008 (sigma, no 3/2009). among the reasons that discourage the life insurance industry is the problem of adverse selection. adverse selection theory describes a situation where the inf...
15 صفحه اولOn the Dirichlet to Neumann Problem for the 1-dimensional Cubic Nls Equation on the Half-line†
Initial-boundary value problems for 1-dimensional ‘completely integrable’ equations can be solved via an extension of the inverse scattering method, which is due to Fokas and his collaborators. A crucial feature of this method is that it requires the values of more boundary data than given for a well-posed problem. In the case of cubic NLS, knowledge of the Dirichet data suffices to make the pr...
